Since the tragic death of George Floyd in the custody of Minneapolis Police Officers, the concept of “Immunity” for police conduct has been a national topic. The disturbing manner in which Mr. Floyd died at the hands of officers has reignited the debate over race and policing as well as what laws apply to police officers.
